The IBM Thinkpad R30 has died.
Faults;- battery does not charge, but mains operates computer OK.
Battery has been replaced without improvement.
CMOS battery holder has come off mainboard.
Otherwise all works, nothing else broken.
Free to anyone who wants parts or thinks they can fix it.
I live in Newtown.
