they probably also don't tell you that it interferes with your TV, radio and
hifi if you live in a marginal reception area, and doesn't work when the
council's off peak hot water relay controls cut in!

And speaking of networking...
Australian PC User issue Jan 2006
has a hardware review about the Netcomm NP210 HomePlug devices.
These
units plug into a powerpoint and allow you to network between rooms using your
powerpoints.
Of course it ends up being slower then wireless anyways,
let alone ethernet :)
