What version? I'm guessing Fedora or Redhat?
If so, I suggest you setup 'yum' which will install
any dependencies for you.
Do you have broadband? If so, try:
yum install gnucash
if that doesn't work, or takes too long you can
set up your own rpm repositories from your cdroms.
