Do you have any funky entries in your prefs.js or user.js?

I don't have a problem with this, in fact it works fine, but unwrapped

Does anybody else have the problem with Thunderbird not wrapping lines
as you type?
I write mails in plain text and have the preference set to wrap the line
at 72 chars. However, when typing the message, it wraps at window width
+ about 3 characters (which is normally about 90 chars). So I end up
with a scroll bar and the left margin disappearing. Very annoying!
When I click on Send, the message is rewrapped at 72 characters.
If anybody knows a remedy, I'd be grateful.
