I don't think it does the same thing. cpufreqd controls speed
based on the kernel's cpufreq policies (performance or
powersave). "hi_boost" by default uses performace so even if
your system is idle, you're still running at full 1.4Ghz, and
switches to a different rule when you unplug the AC. I want to
be able to dynamically set the speed based on CPU usage and
not on AC states alone. When idle it's 600Mhz and if you're
running a lot of apps, switch to 1.4Ghz.
