You can go to packages.debian.org and search for gd.h within packages.
My guess is libgd2-xpm-dev or if you like libgd2-noxpm-dev.
Ah thanks. It was libgd2-xpm-dev
And thankfully apt-get installed the 12MBs of dependencies for me. I now
have the GD perl module installed fine.
I am trying to get a thing called Schemaball up and running.
Have a look at it - its really neat.
Thanks also to Jan for the suggestion of auto-apt. I read what it does
but not really sure that I want such a thing to go installing stuff
