Searching for a webcam that will work with the 2.6 kernel. Actually have
a Logitech Quickcam express, although the author says 2.6 support should
work, its not widly tested. Also crave a little more resolution. (Post
back if you have a cam running on 2.6).
The Apple iSight looks nice, expensive like all Apple hardware. I see a
few forum posts of people saying that can get it working on linux, no
mention of which driver. Further its firewire only, I have yet to use my
firewire ports.

I am also eyeing the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000, the Philips [chipset]
USB webcams seems to be well supported in 2.6.
Here i actually found a comparison of of the Pro 4000 and iSight (only
for picture quality, iSight wins hands down).
