Really you don't need all the /var/log/messages file. You just need to port
the parts that
have to do with pppoe.
If I am correct in my assumption the router has not been configured into
bridge mode.
got the log (/var/log/messages) plus 'ifconfig', in a CD,
It is 3.4 MB in size.
