I think this is perhaps the most important point. Bogofilter is great,
(I don't use DSPAM) but it does require a little patience in the
beginning. When I added my first SLUG list spam, Bogofilter promptly
started flagging all SLUG list messages as spam. This was quickly fixed
with a retrain, but the thought of walking a large number of normal
users through the ups and downs of the initial filter training brings a
shiver to my spine.
It is interesting you had so much trouble training your filter,
bogofilter seems a very fast learner.
