Rubbish.
http://www.ozcableguy.com/alcatel.html for the Alcatel Speed Touch Pro.
Else, The speedtouch home _WILL_ work with MacOS.
Telstra just won't support you with MacOS by the sounds of it.
>(They also told me I'd better of with winblows as mac are really not very good on networks...)
More rubbish, considering MacOS X is built off UNIX -- a networking
operating system, ofcoarse it's going to be very good with networking.
Although I've never used a mac, I wouldn't be surprised if MacOS itself
would be better than Windows at networking.
