Hi,
I've finally got the 2.5 kernel compiled well (I think)
however when I attempt to boot it goes through the motions
up to the point of checking /.
If stops stating that fsck.ext2 can;t be found (and as a result
the boot block appears invalid - something to that effect).
The root fs is on ext3. The lappy is booting
fine into 2.4 (where I am now of course).
Anyone seen this ?
I have made sure that ext2 and ext3 supprt are compiled into the
kernel (not as modules).
2.5.69 kernel.+ ACPI patches
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
cheers
