Better still download the source code and simply add a message at the
start that outputs a warning to the screen. Then create a patch and send
it in to the maintainer suggesting that it be added. Prob is that
perhaps some scripts that call up mkfs may not expect it to be
interactive and presume that it just does its job when called. Hence
adding such a message might break other scripts that depend on it.
Either way the maintainer will have an opinion on that :-)
