Good afternoon
I use rsync to backup our /home directory to a backup server. The
actual command used (in a script) is:
rsync -avz --delete --ignore-errors --rsh=ssh 192.168.1.2:/home/* /home
The command gets spawned every couple of hours via CRON by as root.
The problem I have is that files or driectories that exist on the
target system are *not* deleted if they don't exist on the livesystem
(192.168.1.2) which is what --delete is supposed to do - or so I
thought.
Any ideas ?
Thanking all in advance
