We have had contact with both those worthy organisations and they can help
with specialised equipment (subject to funding) and some advice.

However what I was more after were the things that appear in Windows under
disability access:
large mouse
mouse trails
high contrast
talking icons (you point to it and the system reads the caption)

Other things I do in Windows in a similar situation is to have the most
common packages such as the web browser, word processor and email client all
open automatically on bootup. Although as far as email goes I am leaning to
using on-line web mail systems as they are then available on all systems
