Thanks so much - I laughed right out loud! :-)
I picked up a standard college unix textbook and I've found it very
helpful. It's called 'Your Unix' and each chapter has a section on
Linux. It doesn't help with specific hardware config problems, but it's
great background reading on file systems, processes, basic networking,
etc.
