Instead of writing all these little functions to do the job, why
not write a little executable which you can easily copy across to
other boxen? While I'd love to write all my little psgrep-like
scripts as zsh functions, it's easier to admin all the scripts if
they're in separate scripts.
I rarely touch shell functions (except for scripting, of course)
or aliases. #!/bin/sh scripts all the way. It'll save you
trouble in the end :).
