[SLUG] RPC timed out error

Hi all,

I'm starting to think I'm too thick to use Linux ... maybe I should I sell my 
PC's and stick to my iMac, or go back to windows.  Nah.

Okay .. I have a file I want to export, it's entered in /etc/exports as 
follows;

/home/me/sharethis  athlon.domain.com (r,w)

I get the following error message after a minute or so,

mount:  RPC: Timed out

ideally, I want to be able to mount shares using /etc/fstab, but at the moment 
I can't even mount manully.
