It really depends on what distribution of Linux, or which UNIX you are
using, and how you are installing Apache.

So, which distribution (or UNIX) are you using, which version of it are
you using, and how are you installing Apache (from source, from RPMs,
how)? Which version of Apache?

And can you post the errors. or at least the missing dependencies?
