Sorry Mark,
The ping to 192.168.1.1 was an *example* only.
I meant that you ping localhost first.
then ping the cards IP address on the *same* machine.
then ping the IP address on the other machine.
In your case you would ping 192.168.100.3 from the *same* machine.
