Using lprng, apsfilter and samba on a Debian 2.2.2r2 (potato) box. Printer
is a HP LaserJet 5MP.
On the linux side, used apsfilter to set up printing and samba to make the
printing facilities available.
On the windows side, this gave us an option of several printers (which were
all the same physical device, just via different filters aps had set up).
However, it doesn't seem to matter which one I use whenever something is
printed an extra blank page is produced by the printer. This is both
annoying and wasteful.
Does anyone have any ideas why and/or (more importantly) a solution to
correct this behaviour?
