Thanks, I've looked at Evolution but my version seemd a little buggy in
the editor department, I'll check out 0.14. What I'm really after is a
client with the power of Pine but standardised on a GTK widget set with
the standard 3 pane layout not too much to ask of free software
developed in peoples' spare time <g> I looked at XPine which is a nice
idea but is less easy/intuitive than Pine!

BTW I read the Pine manual and discovered the use of the BCC field to hide
addresses.
