[SLUG] multi-modem cards

Gday sluggers,
Just wondering is anyone has had any experience with multi-modem cards and
linux? I was thinking of the Banksia Intra4 or 8 specifically.
I know that stallion and perhaps 3com have a card that is similar, but
really what I am after is a comment on how well the Intra cards work and if
you can reset them without having to reboot the box.
My big gripe with internal modems is having to reboot to reset the modem. So
if anyone knows a way around this esp with the Intra series cards that
would be great. Or, any other solution that offers multiple linux compatible
modems on a single card would be good too.
