[SLUG] squid caching passwords?

well it is running on linux!

Im have trouble with what appears to be squid caching passwords. Im using
squid-2.4.STABLE1 with the smb_auth module. This module uses smbclient to
conect to a smb share and attempt to read of file - it's the permission on
this file that control access (its on a NTFS on a NT server).

Ive had a user change their NT password and now squid wont authenicate.
It's like squid has got the password for that user cached and is passing
that old password to smb_auth. Logging out and back in doesnt help.

anyone else seen anything like this in squid.

TIA
