Hi all debian nuts,
I installed (on my potato system) apt-proxy by forcing it and
doing a bit of manually configuration of it etc. Anyway I thought
all was ok but til tonight I go to upgrade apache (security
update) and it says:
# apt-get install apache-perl
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Sorry, apache-perl is already the newest version
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
apt-proxy: Depends: netkit-inetd but it is not installable
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).
#
So what I want is to make apt-get mark apt-proxy as installed
fine and stop worrying about it. How?
(I won't ask if that's possible, it must be, with the right
incantations and sacrifices apt-get/dpkg can do anything!)
Dave.
