[SLUG] GPG, PGP etc etc ???

jdubs piece on slug-chat has reminded me what I why
waiting for  slug.org.au to come back up!

I'm not interesting in spawning a huge long discussion
on crypto, but I was wondering if anyone could point me
at useful URL's which might be GPG for Dummies or similar.
A good one which handily explains the jargon and advises
the merits etc of the various encryption algorithms.

I mean I read the words GPG, PGP, 3DES, RSA, Fingerprint,
Key, Keyring, Signature, but what do they all MEAN.
And how do they work together!!

Essentially at the end of the day I think I need to know enough
to be able to setup SSH into a RSA authenticated (3des cipher?)
webserver, and of course a PGP Key for people to sign at Debian SIG.
