[SLUG] RH7.1 and Java problem

Title: RH7.1 and Java problem

Guys, last nite i installed RH7.1 and then tried to install JDK on that machine, as i am a Java developer. I installed 3 diffrent implementaion of JDK1.3 (IBM, BlackDown and the latest 1.3.0_1 from SUN) and the SUN version of JDK1.2.2.

JDK1.2.2 worked ok
JDK1.3 from IBM and Blackdown are ok but when i tried to run the SUN JDK1.3.0_1 it gave me an error saying jre/lib/i386/native-tread/lib-jvm.o not found. None of the JDKs have this lib under that directory. this lib-jvm is used only for the classic flavour of Java and the default flavour for JDK1.3 is client.

Any idea? They all worked fine with Mandrake 7.2 and earlier version of RH.
Also, I installed JBuilder4 on that box. The installation is ok but when i tried to run it it gave me something like ... faile to connect to socket 8808?..blah blah ... exception.

Any idea? Again, this worked fine with Mandrake and earlier version of RH.
