\usepackage{helvet}
Means that the sans font is helvetica etc. It aslo means that
when I type {\em ...} I get a slanted helvetica.
Which I don't want.
Could someone tell me how to get the usual emphatic text,
please? I know I can go through the hoops with \newfont
tiddlypom and then \selectfont, although I don't know how to
describe common emphatic text. There's a shortcut, I think,
but I don't know what it is.
Does anybody?
Regards,
Bill Bennett.
