I downloaded 2.4.13 only two days ago and 2.4.14 just became available, so I
thought it was a good opportunity to try rsync.
I presume what's involved is finding somewhere that has an rsync server AND
the 2.4.14 source tree and then doing an rsync command between that tree and
my 2.4.13 tree that's been unzip/untar-ed from the 2.4.13 archive I
downloaded the other day?
If so, can someone point me at an appropriate server and tell me the command
I would use to do the update?
I've never used rsync before, which is why I'm interested in the precise
command. I guess I could go and do some playing with it, but I'm keen as
mustard to try it on something real and I'd prefer not to pull down another
20 something megabytes of kernel source archive.
I'll have a serious play later, since I'd like to try using it for backups
etc..
TIA
