from the ssh(1) manpage:

       -g     Allows  remote  hosts  to  connect local port
              forwarding ports. The default is that only
              localhost may connect to locally binded ports.

that's what you're after :)

(and just in case you don't have that option, i'm running ssh
 1.2.27).
