[SLUG] Sendmail help

Hi all,
I want to be able to send mail from one internal mailserver to another (our 
main server which is visible on the internet).

I have tried many combinations of sendmail configurations on both machines 
but have had no luck.

If I Ieave the cf file alone, mail is sent to our ISP system and then 
bounced as the domain of the sender does not exist.
If I try to masquerade as the original domain, then the mail doesn not get 
sent as the user does not exist. I believe what happens is that the first 
system then beleives it is the same as the main one and tries to send the 
mail to itself and the users do not exist on this system. I have got it to 
work by creating the user and then putting a .forward file in the home 
directory. But I don't want to add all the users to this system.

This is not very clear.....!

What I need to happen is:
System1 - Helpdesk sends mail as irm@xxxxxxxxxxxx.domain to 
realuser@our.domain on main system Gatekeeper
It is never intended that Helpdesk could send email to the internet.
