News.CIS.DFN.DE - you have to write and apply - providing details, which
they verify  - but it works fine.

No binaries, but they carry the half ad ozen aus.* newsgroups I regularly
check.

I've used it ever since I got the shits with the number of articles my ISP
was missing/dropping in the middle of discussion threads.

gives you the gos.
