SLUG Mailing List ArchivesMy fix for this, for the archives was to do the following:
- apt-get remove xfonts-base
- dpkg --purge xfonts-base
- apt-get install xfonts-base
- Ran mkfontdir in every font dir
- Reordered my font listing in XF86Config-4 to have misc first.
It may not have been necessary to do all of these but it was after them
that fonts sprung to life again. I also do nnot recall if I got these
steps from the list or the 'net. My apologies if they've already been
posted.
