- Thread-topic: ADSL with modem failover
Hi all,
I just wanted to see if anyone else has had any experience with having
an ADSL connection and a modem for failover. With the ADSL situation at
the moment I don't want to supply ADSL solutions if it's drop out every
second day. What I'd like to do is get an ADSL solution in with a 56k
modem link for redundancy. Now the only thing I can think to do is have
a series of scripts that test the ADSL status and dialup and reroute
when the ADSL goes down.
Should I be considering doing this another way?
Thanks,
Paul de Kievit
