What are you talking about??? I've been using redhat since 5.0, started to 
understand linux since 5.1-5.2 and been using text editor only for 
configuration ever since. I think the only gui i use is for printers and 
that's it (only 'cuz i'm too lazy to learn format :)))
There has never been an incident when i was forced to use gui to configure 
bind, samba or anything else for that matter. Why would you trust moronic 
linuxconf anyway???
While i understand that you advocate Debian and like it very much, Redhat is 
no near evil than that little company near Seattle and they DO NOT force you 
to use gui tools. As i said i have NEVER used gui on any of the redhat 
servers i administered (about 10-15 of them ranging from rh 6.0 to 7.1)
