Gee, I can't confirm that behaviour at all. My P133 + 64 Meg
never gets that bad. While Kword was running I was ssh'ing at
aptgettting and ...

Maybe the PPC needs more memory? Do you have have any rough ideas
from compiled sizes?

I guess my focus was how close is a 'load and go' system for this
environment. If you go Kde, I imagine Konq would be the automatic
choice.

Yes please. PPC is definitely a power/price/performance contender,
apart from mboards (as in where do ya gettem) ....
