i develop for the web on a debian box, but i run vmware to check that ie
is coping and to add the ie bells and whistles. i find if you develop for
netscape, it's pretty much definitely gonna work on ie, and then you can
go and add nice stuff via vmware so you have cross browser sexiness.
backing off on the use of css and tables isn't the way, just use the
A friend of mine is setting up a business app for a client and is having
troubles using Linux because of browser (ie Netscape) limitations. I'll
quote his latest E-mail
