That looks like a nice, modern way to build the same essentially
broken 2D GUIs. It doesn't address any of the issues about
workflow, and how computers can actually _help_ instead of get
in the way.
Look instead at http://www.acm.org/cacm/AUG96/antimac.htm
Certainly not hitting all of the nails on the head, but at least
starting to look at them with a glint of determination in their
eyes...
And to fall back to TANSTAAFL, where this diversion started: art
predicts science... How many science fiction books/movies/TV
series describe anything even remotely like a 2D metaphor-laden
GUI? None.
My ideal UI doesn't even have a screen, most of the time...
