[SLUG] named logging

Newbie Alert!  8-)

(Mandrake 7.0-2)

named is dropping what seems like excessive stats into '/var/log/messages', at
least I don't see the same in other systems' log files. It's as if there was
debugging enabled but I can't find where...any ideas?

(these lines have been truncated here but appear in the log every hour)
Jul 6 20:58:43 bunyip named[445]: USAGE 962881123 962631524 CPU=1.11u/0.24s
Jul 6 20:58:43 bunyip named[445]: NSTATS 962881123 962631524
Jul 6 20:58:43 bunyip named[445]: XSTATS 962881123 962631524 RR=521 RNXD=61
