1. Don't make it distro-specific (RH and OpenLinux in the last one, I
believe)
2. If it IS distro-specific, include a "conversion chart" for the major
distros (i.e. /etc/networks in RH = /etc/xxx/networks in Caldera)
3. Mini-how2 on getting the following going (a step-by-ste guide)
* IPCHAINS
* Sendmail/fetchmail
* SQUID
I know these are the subject of many MAN pages, FSQs and HOW-TOs, but
for the newbie a (do this, this and this) guide would be helpful
4. a "boot sequence flowchart" - i.e. what files are executed and in
what order
5. a DOS equivalent list - before I get flamed for this, let me
explain. AUTOEXEC.BAT is to DOS as xxx is to RH / SuSE / Caldera, etc.
