Would something slash-like do the trick? I've recently set up a
Systems intranet based on Slash which we are hoping to do something
FAQ-like as part of it's function.
SLUG's web site migrated to a Slash-like site probably has some
merit anyway (as well as it's drawbacks).

Actually it isn't that hard to do.
Jeff and I had a difference of opinion over Faq-o-matic (which is
one program which does automated FAQ stuff).
I've not had time to look at other options (e.g. faqwizard); the
conference stuff is time consuming.
