[SLUG] Network card timeout error

Hi all

I am hoping someone can help me. Every now and again, the network connection
on my Linux server dies with the following message being spewed continously
accross the screen:

eth0: transmit timed out, tx_status 00 status e000.

Here is the tail of my /var/log/messages file in case that helps...

If anyone can shed any light on how I can prevent this from happening, I
