since Mac OS10 is based on freeBSD, M$ don't really have much coice but to port
Office to 'nix unless they want to kiss goodbye the massive marketshare
dominance that Word (and now office98) enjoys on the Mac platform.
And if they are doing all that work for OS10 ....it's a smart hedge to do a
little extra work and bring their applications into the light properly .......
Forgive the jedi lingo, but the evil emperor seems to have some basic
philosophical shortcomings when it comes to dealing with open source
communities..........
