[SLUG] Home built server question

Hi Guys,

A newbie question.

If I set up a pc as a server on a home network ( 2 pcs, 2 ethernet cards
and crossover cable, server attached to external modem), am I correct in
that the server doesn't need a videocard as it can be accessed from the
workstation?
