i've never used eudora, so i can't give comparisons, but the best gui
mail reader i've used was "tkrat". its easy to use and has an
impressive feature list (including a "database" for storing email,
with an expiry date and search keywords - which i thought was very
cool). "postilion" was a rewrite of the user interface to be more like
NeXT.
