Someone nearby has recently purchased a shiny new wireless router, and
it probably has the same default channel as your unit.  Switch channels, and
the problem will most likely go away.

If it's any consolation, they're probably having similar troubles to you --
if you wait a while, they'll probably take it back to the shop because they
think it's faulty, and your wireless will start working again... <grin>
