Re: [chat] Lies?

I guess it's unlikely that there has or will ever be a film on this
whole Iraq that is balanced. It's a passionate issue and the first to
get me off my feet and marching with the other couple hundred thousand
others in Sydney. There are those (including me) who believe what we
see on the TV regarding Iraq has been fed, filtered, approved and
cajoled into an acceptable story via many methods. I believe F-911 will
expose some truely horrific details. It might over-state other things
but the facts are the facts it was a disaster for the Iraq people, more
than 40K died including their teenage conscripts who were massacred in
thousands.

F-911 has got us all talking about it again so I guess it's served it's
purpose. Mr Bush really needs to be answering for the thousands he
killed for what was a bunch of badly strung together lies. Mr Howard and
Downer should also be hanging their heads in shame as far as I can see.
I for one can't wait to vote at the next Federal election.

If you're not up for F-911 perhaps 'Control Room' about the Al-jazeerah
and US 'take' on the Iraq war might be more appropriate, Its allegedly
brilliant and a lot more balanced.

Side note>> I've certainly enjoyed reading everyone's posts to this
slightly non-slug thread.
