ROFL. As in National Socialist?
We had fun with http://www.politicalcompass.org recently, but I don't
think anyone twigged .

Really. I didn't see too much of that in his other articles.

ROTFPMP. What Hitchens does is to pick the incoming wave of populist
revelation and write about it [1]. I can not remember Hitchens actually
breaking any story. "Gushing" fits a lot of his writing even when the
evidence is very strong to the contrary.

30 year old news!
Look, save your breath and stop making assumptions. I don't like Michael
Moore's grip on "facts" either. He is just another facit of the
"American Way". What is good about him is that he is prepared to do
stuff that challenges people to think about things. Of course, most
people have never thought about anything in their life, so his efforts
are wasted there.

Okay, guessing contest. Name a few "highly respected" aussies that would
fit that?

Spot on. Just another "American Way".
[1] If you want to waste some time one day, open a browser window onto
each of the major news sources "breaking news" pages and watch the flow
and evolution of the news. Watch what hits the headlines and what
doesn't. See if you can pick what is going to become the big stories,
then research and write your one WWW/blog on it. You too can be as good
as Hitchens.
