Yes, this mailing list's setup auto-destroys list-members' Reply-Tos.  
It's unfortunate.

All that a list-member can do, under those circumstances, is run an MUA
(such as mutt) that supports auto-ignoring munged Reply-Tos on mailing 
lists whose admins have made that unfortunate setup choice -- but senders' 
individual Reply-To headers are irretrievably lost.
