if you want to tunnel PPP, the easiest solution might just be to install
VPN on your Windows machine at work (if that's possible), and VPN back to
your home box.  (run something like PoPToP on your Linux server, which is a
Microsoft-compatible VPN server.)  be warned that if you do this, make sure
you turn off the "Use this as default route" in your dial-up properties,
unless you really want to do that.

i know TeraTerm Pro does this, although i personally haven't played with
this.  (google for it.)  you'll also need the SSH modules for it which,
iirc, are at http://www.zip.com.au/~roca/  i think it can even be run from
[gasp] the commandline.  read docs to figure out the switches you need.
