Thanks all. In five years of looking around, this is the first mention
I've seen of a FO screw fitting, so I might get lucky (it has got to
change soon).
This stuff is fairly flexible and seems to have been used, then returned
to its reel. Best hint is that is was a HP system to connect system to
hard disks about 10 years+ ago. It has a HP part number, but the only
part number I could find on various search engines was a print of a
Magnolia Bloom {:-).
I'm just looking to use it to connect parts of the SOHO network.
As I understand it, the Telstra/etc fibre is high speed and requires
careful fitting/matching to reduce reflectance at the interfaces. This
stuff would not have the same requirements. Then again, I drag a length
of thicknet around with a vampire tap fitted {:-)
